	Navin Bala is here with what will be the coolest jet in the Indian Air Force. This is the 1/72 ZVEZDA Sukhoi Su50 PAK-FA wearing a very attractive splinter scheme. I'm pleased to see Navin has also included pictures of other Indian Air Force models for you all to enjoy. I love the look of this Su50.

	Istvan Zoldag is a regular here on ARC and I'm pleased to see his latest model on the ARC homepage today. This is his 1/48 Hasegawa Erich Hartmann's Messerschmitt Bf109G-14 wearing a winter camo scheme from Feb 1945. I love Luftwaffe aircraft in winter camo schemes....beautiful work Istvan.

	Carlos Herrera is here with his massive and very impressive 1/350 Tamiya Enterprise. If you've seen the Tamiya Enterprise in person, than you can appreciate the work Carlos has put into his Enterprise. Carlos has added extra aircraft and painted them in the colors of different air wings and even different countries, so this Enterprise is particularly interesting to have a close look at the photos of the aircraft on board. Stunning work Carlos.

	Hot Babe of the Week! this week from Twobobs is courtesy of Joseph Kunzler. Joseph was lucky enough to be invited out to VAQ-130 for a photo shoot. He was kind enough to share these Growler pics with us and yes, this decal sheet is about 1/3 of the way done as I type this. Thanks a bunch Joseph!. Enjoy! *Bob*

	Leonard Prakasam joins us today with his flawless looking 1/72 Hasegawa Jaguar IS. Leonard used decals from Mike Grant decals to finish his Jaguar in Indian Air Force markings. I love seeing Indian jets and this one is a beauty complete with it's great looking markings for No.5 Squadron, the “Tuskers”and full weapons load.

	Kevin Payne has done a huge amount of scratchbuilding on his 1/72 Aeroclub Vacform Vickers Varsity T1. Kevin scratchbuilt the landing flaps, aircraft interior, front wheel bay, all the aerials, access ladder and access door plus added extra detail such as wind screen wipers and brake lines to the wheels. Then after skillful painting and weathering, Kevin finished his Varsity T1 as an RAF machine.

	S K Loh is here with two fantastic 1/144 Academy F-15SG Conversion. These 2 F-15SG's are flying in formation and climbing for altitude. S K Loh made custom decals to finish his jets as Republic of Singapore Air Force F-15SGs. These are tiny jets in 1/144 scale but these 2 jets are loaded with details including scratchbuilt details in the cockpit. 1/144 scale is one very fun scale to build.

Dominican Republic Independence Day

	Paresh Nair has done 2 what-if models of the 1/72 Indian Airforce MMRCA Finalists. The Dassault Rafale and the Eurofighter Typhoon are the 2 finalists in the Indian Air Force Medium Multi-Role Combat Aircraft (MMRCA) Competition. Paresh did an excellent job on both of these models and it's good to see both these jets wearing IAF markings.

	Denis COUDERT has done a gorgeous job building and detailing his 1/48 Hasegawa F4U-7 Corsair Aéronavale Française. This particular Corsair is wearing French markings from the "Musketeer Operation" over Suez in 1956. It's pretty cool to see a Corsair in these markings from the Suez Crisis.

	Shawn "phantom" Weiler is here with a sharp looking Phantom he made for the Texas Group Build here on ARC. This is his 1/48 Revell/Monogram F-4C Phantom #147 with a few mods using parts from the Hasegawa Phantom. I enjoyed seeing his Phantom with Texas markings.

Here's a product article for the 1/32 F/A-18C Werewolves of Beaufort decal sheet from Twobobs Aviation Graphics. This sheet features enough markings for two complete aircraft from VMFA-122 with options for three. VMFA-122 has just recently changed their monicker from the Crusaders to the Werewolves and they have some new tail art to kick it all off!

Estonia National Day

	Dawid Smialkowski has done a fabulous job finishing and weathering his 1/48 Kinetic F-16I Sufa. Dawid was very skilled when it came to the painting and weathering and you will see that in his photos. He gave his F-16I Sufa a full weapons load with drop tanks and darkened the panel lines......this is a great looking Israeli Sufa.

	Pablo Angel Herrera joins us from Guatemala 1/48 Airfix Bf-109E-1 in the markings for an Emil during the Battle of France in 1940. Pablo did an amazing job adding gun smoke and exhaust stains and darkening the panel lines. Every area of his 109 has the look and flawless craftsmanship....all the detailing looks so delicate and perfect.

	Murli Rajan joins us from India with his gorgeous looking 1/48 Airfix EE Canberra B(I)58. Murli finished his Canberra in Indian Air Force markings and the very attractive camo worn by the IAF Canberras. I always enjoy seeing the latest model from my friend Murli in India. Beautiful work Murli.

	Bartosz Piotrowski is here with his Iraqi 1/72 Hasegawa Mirage F1 EQ-6. This jet was used in the "Wild Weasel" role by Iraq during the Iran-Iraq war. Bartosz gave it a full and modified weapons load and finished it off with w beautiful looking camo and decals from Carpena.

	Robert Martino did an exceptionally nice job on his bare metal 1/48 Revell P-51D Mustang. Robert chose the Mustang "Miss Marolyn II" and finished it in a combination of Alclad II and bare Metal Foil. The noseart is custom done. Robert has a definite talent for these bare metal Mustangs.

	Ian T.M. Holahan really did get everything looking perfect on his 1/48 Hobby Boss F-111A. From the weapons load to the shaded panel lines to the added cockpit detailing and other work....Ian persisted and ended up witha first class F-111 that really is a pleasure to see. Enjoy the photos and read his article to fully appreciate all the effort he put into his "Vark".

	Shawn "phantom" Weiler is here with a first on ARC. This is his great looking 1/48 Hasegawa F-4E, Phantom #146 done up in USAF Thunderbird markings and if you look closely at the rear seat VIP passenger....they are just about to use the barf bag. Too funny and to true I suspect. Too funny Shawn!!!

	Angelo M Picardo has been very busy improving his 1/72 Italeri C-130 Hercules. Angelo rescribed the panel lines, scratchbuilt the cargo hold, added aftermarket engines from Heritage Aviation and decals from Airdecal for a very attractive RAF machine. This is quite the impressive project and looks first class.

	John Smalbrugge is here with a classic but always enjoyable to see 1/32 Revell BAe (Hawker) Harrier GR Mk 3 (early). John gave it some underwing stores and posed it in-flight in a hover. If you don't understand the Harrier and how it works, then you are in for a treat as John explains the mechanicals of this very unique jet. It's always a treat to see one of the early RAF harriers.

	Jean-Charles GODDET is here with a very special F-16...this is his 1/72 Hasegawa Lockheed Martin F-16F block 60. This is one of the new UAE advanced F-16s that he added a full weapons load, drop tanks and conformal fuel tanks. It's a new jet so it is wearing a combination of US and UAE markings as it appeared during pilot training in the US. Very cool to see.

	Mark Forster is here with his first article on ARC and what a sharp looking 1/48 Tamiya Focke Wulf FW190A-3. Mark built it mostly out of the box and finished it in a expertly done flawless Luftwaffe camo scheme. It doesn't get any better than this. Excellent work Mark....welcome to ARC.

	Terry Davis is a very skilled and versatile modeler as you will see when you read about his 1/16 Rocket Man. Terry started with a tank crew figure......then modified the figure and add a helmet and scratchbuilt the rocket pack using a variety of parts.....even some railroad parts. The really cool part is if you look closely at the rocket pack...you will see it has all the tubes/wires and fittings just like the real thing. You rock Terry!!!

	Florin "Scorpio" Silaghi is here with an awesome 1/32 Hasegawa NF-5A Turkish Star. There was a large number of aftermarket detail items used on this Turkish NF-5A and then a combination of custom decals and masks plus skilled masking completed the great looking markings on this jet. There is a big red eagle on the underside. Wow Wow Wow....I love it!!!

	Mark Patman is here with his 1/48 Tamiya Beaufighter sporting the markings for the famous RAAF Green Ghost Squadron. Mark dressed up his Beaufighter with Ultracast seats and a set of rockets made by Red Roo and then turned his considerable talent to properly fading the paint to give it that weathered look from the hot pacific sun. You'll love seeing the photos of his Beaufighter.

	Denis COUDERT has done a flawless job on his USAF 1/48 Academy EF-111 Raven. Denis added a Verlinden cockpit and then worked his magic to make his F-111 as perfect looking as possible. I really enjoyed seeing the photos of his F-111.

	Babak Chalangi starts today with 2 excellent looking 1/48 Italeri Bell 212. These are both Iranian Helos...one army and one with the navy. The detail work and airbrushing is flawless....these are a treat to see. Amazing work Babak.

	Tom Berres has done a stellar job on his 1/72 Hasegawa Tornado GR.4. Tom used aftermarket detail items from Airwaves, Eduard, Aires, Pavla and Heritage Aviation and replaced the cockpit, wheel wells and dropped flaps and slats among other things. Tom put plenty of thought and effort into the weapons load as you'll see in his article. He then gave his Tornado a full and very accurate looking weathering job and finished it off with Model Alliance decals. When I saw the pictures I thought this was a 1/48 or 1/32.....I was quite impressed when I saw it was 1/72.

	Louis Chang is here with a flawless looking 1/48 Hasegawa P-38G Lightning. Louis chose one of the P-38's that was part of the mission to shoot down the transport plane carrying Yamamoto. Louis gave his P-38 a weathered tired paint job complete with nose art. I pleased to say his P-38 will be featured in a Taiwanese model magazine. Enjoy the photos....this one is a beauty.

Lithuania National Day

	Dave Savage is here with his Tornado GR4 Painting. This painting will be going up for auction and sold to the highest bidder, the proceeds of which would then be passed on to the Help For Heroes charity.

	Carmel J Attard is here with his big and amazing 1/72 Airmordel Douglas C-124 Globemaster. This is a vac-u-formed kit so Carmel had to scratchbuild such things as the cockpit and wheel wells and scribe the panel lines on the whole model. This big beauty took 1 1/2 months to build and I am amazed how unbelievably good the finished model looks. Carmel details the whole build process in his article and it is quite the fascinating read.

	Irv Singer has done a stunning job on his 1/144 Trumpeter F-22 Raptor. Even in this tiny scale Irv got all the paint and details looking perfect on this Raptor. It really is amazing what can be done in 1/144 scale.

	Artur Oslizlo is a highly skilled modeller and I know you'll agree when you see his 1/48 Eduard Su-25. Artur added quite a few aftermarket items and then finished his Su-25 with a full weapons load and panel line shading and some very eye catching markings. The finished model is a treat to see.....enjoy the photos.

	Olivier Barles has done quite a bit of work improving the detail on his 1/32 Azur Polikarpov I-16, model 10. Once Olivier got the details fixed then he finished his fighter in a temporary winter camo the Russians were famous for. Once the winter fighter was finished a diorama base complete with snow and foot prints in the snow was created to give the fighter a proper home. The finished scene looks fantastic.

	Michael Hickey reworked almost every area of his 1/48 Hobbyboss F/A-18C using a combination of scratchbuilt details and aftermarket detail items. He left the canopy open to show off the wonderful detail of the Aires resin cockpit as well as the Aires electronics bay and radar. Once the paint was done Michael used Twobobs decals to get the VFA-86 Sidewinders markings with colorful tail art he was looking for.

Happy Valentines Day

	David Sim (archybean) gets this update fired up with his big bright bare metal 1/48 Monogram B-58 Hustler. David has some serious skill when it comes to doing bare metal finishes using foil as he did on this B-58. He explains in his article how he got these outstanding results on his foil finish. Beautiful work David.

	Denis COUDERT joins us from Dijon / France with his 1/48 Hasegawa Junkers JU87 D-8 Stuka. What makes this Stuka so special is the paint job....it is done with endless squiggles. Check out the photos in his article...you will be very impressed.....it looks awesome.

	Bruno Monti Colombani has done a gorgeous job building and finishing his 1/48 Tamiya F-16 Block 25. Bruno used a variety of aftermarket detail items on his F-16 and then used Twobobs decals for the markings. I love the look of these white and orange Test jets. This is the 1/48 F-16A/C/D Press to Test Vipers decal sheet from Twobobs and there are still some copies available on the Twobobs website. Product # 48-209

	I've added Albion Alloys to the ARC links page.....they make a variety of mico tubing that is perfect for gun barrels.

	Phil De Keyser has dine a fantastic job finishing and weathering his 1/48 Kinetic F-16 AM NATO Viper. Phil added Quickboost ejection seat to dress up the cockpit of the fine Kinetic F-16 kit and then finished it as a Belgium F-16. Wow check out the weathering.....this looks perfect for a Belgium Viper.

	Norman Gruss has done a perfect job on his 1/48 Eduard Focke-Wulf FW 190 D-11 <58. Norman used tubing from Albion Alloys for the gun barrels and then gave it a flawless camo paint job to complete this beautiful Dora.

	Ulysses Almeida is here with one of the more colourful Fouga Magister you will ever see. This is his 1/48 GIIC Fouga Magister finsihed in the colours of the Brazilian Air Force's aerobatic team - Esquadrilha da Fumaça. Ulysses did quite a bit of work on this resin kit and you can read all about it in his article. I love the look of this Brazilian jet.

	David Rapasi has out done himself with his wonderfully weathered 1/48 Accurate Miniatures SBD Dauntless. For markings Dave went with a USMC Dauntless out of Bougainville in early 1944 and of course he gave it one of his stellar weathering jobs..

	Shawn "phantom" Weiler joins us with a very eye catching 1/48 Hasegawa F-4J Phantom #145. Shawn close some colourful markings for his Phantom....from the good ol' days when all jets were colourful. I loved seeing it.......and especially the photo of his display cases.

	Chris Parsons is here with a very colourful 1/48 Kinetic Grumman Tracker. Chris went with a Tracker that flew fire bombing missions in northern Saskatchewan in the early eighties and to add more visual appeal Chris folded the wings. This is a great looking Tracker Chris.

	Tom Berres is here to treat you to photos of his amazingly well done 1/72 Zvezda MiG-31B 'Foxhound'. Tom used a combination of kit bashing, scratchbuilding and aftermarket items and old fashioned skill to transform his MiG-31 into a masterpiece. This is truly an exceptional model.

	Bernhard “Flugi” Pethe has taken the 1/72 Special Hobby Sikorsky CH-37 Mojave to a very high level of perfection. The level of detail is exceptional and I can see Bernhard put quite a bit of extra work into his CH-37 Mojave to make it look this good. WOW!!!

	Hakan SÖYLEMEZOĞLU has been very busy getting everything looking perfect on his 1/72 Revell F-16C Block 30 ÖNCEL. Hakan finished his F-16 in Turkish Air Force markings.

Grenada Independence Day

	Louis Chang has done an amazing job on his 1/48 Tamiya Mitsubishi G4M1 (Betty). Louis gave his Betty careful weathering and paint chipping and finished in in the markings of the G4M1 carrying Japanese Naval Marshal General Isoroku Yamamoto when he was shot down by USAAF P-38G at Solomon Islands, 18 April 1943.

	Burt Gustafson is here with a very special 1/48 Hasegawa TA-4J Skyhawk. Burt's model is sporting United States of America Bicentennial markings and couple that to Burt's flawless work and you have a Skyhawk that is well worth checking out.

	Fabian Mario Vera did a beautiful job building and finishing his 1/48 Roden Pilatus PC6 Turbo Porter. Fabian finished his Pilatus in Argentine Armada. I love the weathering job.

	Artur Oslizlo is here with an exceptional well done 1/48 Classic Airframes Venom FB.4. Artur built his Venom out of the box and gave it an amazing weathering job complete with faded panels and chipped paint.

	Denis COUDERT is here from France with his very interesting looking 1/48 Hasegawa Spitfire Mk V / Opération Jubilee. Denis painted his Spitfire in Free French markings with special identification stripes as seen in the skies over Dieppe during the raid in 1942. I love the look of these Opération Jubilee stripes. Wonderful work Denis.

	Kees Kuyper is here to make you grin with his Messerschmitt 262 that has crashed into a house. Look carefully at the wings......they are off an airliner model. Pretty funny.....I love it.

	Burcin Emren joins us from Turkey with his very attractive 1/48 Italeri F-111. Burcin gave his F-111 a full weapons load and SEA camo and then set it up in a in-flight display.

	Alex Cimenti is here with his stunning bare metal 1/72 Hasegawa B-25J "Oklahoma Betsie / Big Jamoke". Alex tells the tragic story of this B-25 and its last mission and the fate of the crew. He B-25 is a joy to see and read about.

	"Harv" has been busy creating his Caprica Assault Transport. Harv did quite a bit of scratchbuilding the create the tilt jet motors and then he finished it off with the correct Battlestar Galactica-based decals. I was a big fan of Battlestar Galactica and Caprica, so it is a special treat for me to see Harv's Caprica Assault Transport.

	Shawn "phantom" Weiler gets things fired up today in a 'phantastic' way with his 1/48 Revell F-4C Phantom #143. Yup....this is the 143rd Phantom Shawn has built and it is one very eye catching bird. Shawn used aftermarket decals for a jet with an Icelandic connection. I like the combination of colourful markings and this camo scheme.

	Jens Gerber joins us today with a fascinating aircraft. This is his 1/48 Trumpeter Me 509 A3/R11 with a flawless camo paint job and full weathering. This is a very interesting aircraft as the engine is mounted behind the cockpit.....much like the P-39. I enjoyed seeing the photos of this Me 509 very much.

	Tom Berres has done a stunning job on his 1/72 Hasegawa Tornado F.3. Tom gave it subtle weathering and panel line shading.....wow you've got to have a close look at the shading on this paint job.....it is beautifully done. Tom is definitely a master with the airbrush.

Space Shuttle Columbia Accident 2003

	Atsushi Tanaka joins us from Japan with a beautiful looking 1/72 ESCI F-100D Super Sabre. Atsushi used an excellent technique for masking the heat damaged paint on the rear fuselage near the engine. The decals came from 2 decal companies and the weapons were from Hasegawa. This is a good looking F-100D Super Sabre.

	Stevie Murray joins us from the UK with his 1/72 Revell Westland Seaking. For the paint scheme, Stevie went with the bright yellow scheme of a Royal Air Force Seaking. I love the way it looks.

	Greg Kerry is here with a Tools 'n' tips article about Picture Techniques. It's a helpful article that will give you some new ideas to think about regarding photos of models.
