This new resin set from Cutting
Edge Modelworks includes one complete 1/24 Spitfire Mk.V Rotol prop and
spinner for the Trumpeter kit.
This resin set is quite straight
forward. It includes one prop cone and 3 prop blades. Also included
is a cup with a predrilled hole. You place the prop cone inside this cup
and use the predrilled hole in the resin cup to drill the hole in the resin prop
cone. This jig will ensure the hole for your prop cone is dead centre.
The prop cone is very well done
and includes holes for the prop blades. The angle of the rotation angle of
the prop blades will have to be determined by the modeller as the blades can be
attached at any "angle of attack".
The blades are very thin and
beautifully cast.
