For a very long time it's
been hard to find decals for the AV-8B. This doesn't mean folks
weren't interested in Harrier decals, just that finding decals was
impossible since the Superscale decals of long ago. But now the
Two Bobs have answered our call with piles of Harrier markings on one
sheet.
Included in this decal
sheet are 2 pages of decals.
The main decal sheet
contains markings for 6 different AV-8B's. Included on both decal
sheets are stencils and slime lights for 4 of the 6 aircraft included on
this decal sheet.
Decal option #1 is
for plane #01 from VMA-231. This is the squadron that uses the Ace
Of Spades playing card as a Squadron Emblem. This particular plane
is a AV-8B Super Harrier.
Decal option #2 is
for plane #07 from VMA-231. This is the squadron that uses the Ace
Of Spades playing card as a Squadron Emblem. This particular plane
is a AV-8B Night Attack Harrier.
Decal option #3 is
for plane #50 from VMA-231/HMM264. This particular plane has a
Knight chess piece as a Squadron Emblem. This particular plane is
a AV-8B Harrier and has markings and was flown with Operation
Joint Endevour Implemention Force (IFOR) in 1996.
