This decal sheet features 3 different F-15's directly involved in supporting Special Forces in Operation Anaconda in Afghanistan.

All three F-15's feature 9-11 Nose Art.  Included on the back of the instruction sheet is a harrowing story of a pair of F-15E's that came to the rescue with guns blazing to provide badly air support for a team of Navy seals in Afghanistan.   The two F-15E's invloved in the story are "Twister 5-1" and "Twister 5-2", which are the top two planes to the right on the instruction sheet.

Twister 5-1 has the "Packing Heat" nose art above and is with the 335th Fighter Squadron.

Twister 5-2 has the Anaconda "Squeeze Play" nose art and is with the 335th Fighter Squadron.

The third plane is also with the 335th Fighter Squadron and has the "Lucky Strike" nose art.  This plane is the the Squadron CO's plane  and is a Mi-24 killer from Desert Storm.

All three planes are in the standard F-15E color scheme.  The decals are very complete and include full stencils as well as formation lights.  All three planes feature bomb mission markings and Twister 5-1 has images of the "Wright Flyer" on the inside of each vertical stabilizer.

The nose art is done up as a third decal sheet (not shown in this review) which is printed by Archer Fine Transfers.

The quality of this decal sheet is the usual excellent quality we expect from Two Bobs.  The story behind these planes makes this sheet very interesting and attractive to me....having a story behind the model I'm building helps me connect fully with the plane.

I'd like to thank the Two Bobs for this review sample.
