The Canso represents David Hornell's aircraft
prior to his last flight. It is of course Monogram's Pro-Modeller PB5YA
with True Details cockpit and photo-etch added. The model was painted
with Polly Scale..no Future..! Of interest a very good friend in
Saskatoon, Ray Crone, was a member of 162 Sqn RCAF stationed in Iceland.

This model was dedicated to Mrs Patricia Huff of Delta, BC, now aged 85, who helped build the 1/1 Canso at Boeing's Vancouver plant at False Creek. It was a thrill to me to have these two people as friends and to have them a part of a famous aircraft.
