A Conversion from the Tamiya F-4C/D

Here are a few pics. of the IPMS/Mexico Nationals grand winner as best a/c kit overall. It's based on the 1/32 Tamiya F-4C/D, with Cutting Edge nose, decals and wing conversion. Armament comes from TAC Scale Dynamics and ejection seats from True Details.

Wheel well details as landing gear come from the Flightpath 1/32 F-4E Gunsmoke set. This set is designed for the Revell kit, but with some small modifications you can use them on the Tamiya kit. Air intakes come from Seamless Suckers.  Be advised that the resin nose when sanded to match the Tamiya fuselage has a zillion pin holes that are very difficult to fill. I used Gunze's Surfacer with several applications and a lot of patience!
